New dental graduates, dental hygiene graduates, or Certified Dental Assistants (within 2 years of graduation) are at especially high ergonomic risk. With this Special Program Package you can have a review done for a new (to you) clinic or a prospective clinic, or any individual operatory clinical setting reviewed, OR have a clinician risk profile assessment EPA short form completed for yourself, including a brief written report and a list of any comments and recommendations which will be discussed with you following the EPA.
This usually involves 3-4 hours of consultant time, but is available to new graduates for a package fee of $976 (i.e., consulting services are being provided to you at up to 50% discount).
The goal of this special program package is to help the new graduate (who is at special risk when joining a first practice or purchasing a new or existing practice) to minimize the risks of launching the practice in a setting which by its equipment and/or layout compromises the potential for operation in ergonomic harmony and balance. Often, simple adjustments of equipment layouts, if done early, can allow the new graduate to proceed with a fully healthy ergonomic practice, whereas to proceed without such adjustments is almost certain to provoke and sustain discomfort and musculoskeletal injuries of the back, neck, shoulder, and elsewhere.
This assessment package comes with six months’ access to the on-line ergonomic modules and self-evaluation tools for the new practitioner and others working in his/her primary office.
Note: This assessment and short report package is not intended to provide medical-legal reporting and will not be available for clinicians who are already involved in a disability claim, disability lawsuit, or related litigation.
